I visited my grandparents today, as it had been a while since I last saw them. I stayed with my cousins, and we watched a Christmas movie.


The next day, my girlfriend came over. I showed her a picture of my father she had never seen before. Since she never got to meet him, it was a very emotional momen

Today, we headed back to San Salvador. I honestly didn't want to make the trip, but we had been invited for New Year's Eve. At least they had a bonfire going, which was great because it was freezing. For dinner, there was a huge spread: stuffed chicken breast, pozole, a chilled soup, Christmas salad, roast loin again, and so on. It was way too much food, in the best way possible. It was just really nice to spend some time with the family.

   We had our traditional Christmas dinner today. For the occasion, my girlfriend joined us again and helped me make the salad. We dined on roast loin with lasagna and had a gift exchange afterward. It was a truly lovely day.
